2 Days at regional sawmills around Australia (costs below are for Victoria only)
The course enables participants to grade timber to Australian Standard 3818.2- Railway Track Timbers. Individual graded products include: sleepers, crossing and transom timbers. 6 - 12 participants class based with practical grading exercises.
Job Outcomes: Learners with this competency may find employment as sleeper graders in sawmills.
Will be by demonstration of skills and answering related questions. On successful completion learners will be issued a nationally recognised statement of attainment for the competency above.
