    Duration Competency based- up to 5 days after completion of Harvest Trees Manually- Basic, with evidence of experience gained between the courses.
    This course refines techniques required to fall trees safely and efficiently, produce useful forest products and leave a silviculturally correct forest behind. Successful completion enables participants to meet one of the requirements for obtaining a Forest Operator’s Licence in this category of work. In comparison to the basic course the trees are taller and larger in diameter. 5-6 participants per instructor.
  • Will be by demonstration of skills and answering related questions.

  • Enrolment in FPI30111 Certificate III in Forest Growing & Management Persons enrolling for this course MUST have satisfactorily completed the following:- Course in Chainsaw Operation & Maintenance or equivalent Fall Trees Manually- Basic or equivalent OH&S for Forest Workers and Environmental Care for Forest Operators.
