This course covers OH&S legislation and practices relevant to commercial forest operations in Victoria. 6-12 participants. Class based with practical bush exercise and both practical and theory assessment. Attendance is a mandatory requirement for any person wishing to obtain a Forest Operator Licence. Job Outcomes: Persons completing this course will have one of the components for their Forest Operators Licence which will allow them to work in commercial forestry operations in Victoria.

Will be by demonstration of skills and answering related questions. On successful assessment learners will be issued with a nationally recognised statement of attainment for the unit above.
