• Course name Occupational Health and Safety For Forest Workers

    Duration 1 Day at Timber Training Creswick or regionally subject to class size.
    This course covers OH&S legislation and practices relevant to commercial forest operations in Victoria. 6-12 participants. Class based with practical bush exercise and both practical and theory assessment. Attendance is a mandatory requirement for any person wishing to obtain a Forest Operator Licence. Job Outcomes: Persons completing this course will have one of the components for their Forest Operators Licence which will allow them to work in commercial forestry operations in Victoria.
  • Will be by demonstration of skills and answering related questions.  On successful assessment learners will be issued with a nationally recognised statement of attainment for the unit above.
