    The Building Code of Australia requires all structural timber to be stress graded and branded according to the relevant Australian Standard.  This course is based on Australian Standard 2082 -2007 "Visually stress graded hardwood for structural purposes" and successful completion will enable participants to meet this requirement for hardwood timbers. 8 - 15 participants. Class based with practical exercises. Job Outcomes: Successful completion of this course may lead to employment as a timber grader.  This course may also be useful for building inspectors and specifiers.
  • Will be by demonstration of skills and answering related questions.  Upon successful completion students will be issued with a nationally recognised statement of attainment for the unit(s) above.
