• Course name Saw Technology Block 2 – Brazing, Tipping and Sharpening Tipped Blades and Hand Tools
    Duration 1 week at Creswick with some assignment work

    1st year course. This course is aimed at providing skills for replacing tungsten tips, the sharpening of tipped saws and hand sharpening of cutting tools. Maximum 8 participants.

  • Will be by demonstration of skills and answering related questions.

    2. Sharpen tipped circular saws
    3. Replace tungsten tips
    4. Perform brazing/ silver soldering
  • Enrolment in FWP30711 Certificate III in Saw Technology

    Note: This block is only available to students undertaking the Saw Technology apprenticeship.
